Graphic Designer Profile
I am a Graphic Designer based in the Niagara Region. I’ve had an interest in illustration since I was a young child and slowly that has grown from illustrating to encompass all of graphic design. I discovered through my journey that I especially enjoy typesetting for one of my favourite mediums, books. Combining my love of illustration as well as typesetting book design happily meshes those two passions together.

I have a background in the hardware business and from that package design has been an interest of mine nearly as long as books have, the way a package fits together like a puzzle and then being able to present a product in a way that the audience can understand easily and accessibly. Design encompasses so much in the world and gives so many options, I would be proud to call myself a graphic designer that can add to the world and make things better and more accessible.

Working with Wellspring Cancer Support Niagara to create deliverables such as digital media and physical media (Lightup mailers, spring mailer, brochure and donation cards) that will increase donations as well as increase member count.

This specific piece is one of three donation cards developed to interact with the potential donar, using a tree to help express how Wellspring wishes to grow and thrieve along with their members.

Album RedesignMarianas Trench - Ever After 
Viny Record, Dust Jackets & Labels

Taking an album and redesigning it from the ground up through research and the understanding of the packaging such as labels, dust jackets and sleeves. Taking the themes and emotions of the album to create a cover that fits the band’s aesthetic. 

Choosing Marianas Trench album Ever After and redesigning it using influence from its imagery and ideas in their music videos.  Using a combination of collage and illustration to represent the contrast between fairytale and reality that is represented in the music and videos of the album. Using greyscale colour pallet to blend the two seamlessly together and give it more of a retro feeling.
